Club Membership

USC Polo Membership

Membership is open to all students, faculty, staff and alumni actively attending USC as a student or employed by the University. Our club will also accomodate Alumni on a first come first serve basis as sessions open slots for participation in either lessons or club chukkers.

The club provides the ponies, tack and polo gear for beginners. Alumni who have their own horses and gear and wish to participate in USC practices are encouraged to do so and accomodated accordingly. Beginning students will be taught the essential of horsemanship and fundamentals of beginning polo, while advanced undergraduate student members become part of the USC Women and Men Polo teams. For rates, please contact our Club Representatives on our Contact Page as our rates and packages vary and are disclosed upon request.

Our club offers many opportunities to participate we encourage you to contact us and to get involved first hand. Thank you very much for your interest in our club and we look forward to hearing from you.

How to sign up for a usc polo lesson/practice

Directions on how to sign up for a USC Polo Lesson or Practice:
  1. Open the Polo Club Calendar through the button below or through the link. 
  2. Click on the month and day you can attend 
  3. Fill out your name, telephone number, and carpool ability or necessity. 
  4. Follow the waiver directions in the slides below 
  5. Wait for the confirmation email/ text identifying lesson or practice transportation and horse experience details

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO BEFORE I CAN RIDE HORSES?

​Prior to your lesson, we ask that you fill out USC's club sports release form, which is linked here
You will have to register with the website, IMLeagues.  Join "Polo", and then fill out the release

On the day of, be prepared, make sure you filled out the confirmation form in advance, received your day- of coordination text, and to wear appropriate clothing.
