ARDESHIR RADPOUR
USC Head Coach - Equestrian Polo Teams

Ardeshir Radpour was born in Tehran Iran in November of 1969 and moved to the United States in 1977.  As a Zoroastrian Persian sharing a tradition going back to the time of Cyrus the Great, Ardeshir has strived to keep alive and promote the proud history of the Ancient Persians.  His undergraduate degrees from the University of Southern California were in Political Science and History with emphasis in Business and a graduate degree from California State University Northridge in Political Science.


As a child he was exposed to horses in Iran with Uncles and Cousins who were accomplished equestrians and a great uncle was an officer in the Reza Shah's Cavalry and a polo player.  Growing up in the United States his real opportunity came while at USC when he was formally introduced to polo. While attending USC, he was the captain of the Equestrian Polo Teams and upon his graduation began to play professionally and still maintains a professional status with a 5 goald handicap.  Professionally he has played for prestigious teams such as Mercedes, BMW, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Piaget, Jaeger Le Couture, Tiffany's, Jaguar, Hennessy, Mansour, Harry Winston, Harrod's of London to name a few in games such as the US Arena Open, Skins Cup, Legends Cup, British Polo Days, UBS Championships, at various clubs such as Santa Barbara Polo Club, San Diego Polo Club, Empire Polo Club, Houston Polo Club, Palm Beach Polo Club.  He has also coached many prestigious polo teams such as The USC polo team, The United States Marines Polo Team, The Unites States Army Polo Team and the Iranian National Polo Team and helped coordinate polo for productions such as Cruel Intentions, Follow your heart, Revenge and The Great Gatsby and commercials for Bentley, Vogue, Ralph Lauren, Hennessee, Toyota and Fox Sports and Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic.


From the fundamentals of Dressage and polo to the Cavalry arts, Ardeshir spent everyday riding and training to achieve a classical and formal discipline in Horsemanship.   After completing his Bachelor’s degrees at USC, Mr. Radpour became the assistant coach and in 1999 was promoted to the Head Coaching Position.  Mr. Radpour was also one of the most renowned Riders of Traveler, the University of Southern California’s Trojan Mascot.


Mr. Radpour is an entertainment industry professional with an extensive background in Stunts, Wranglers, Armorers, Wardrobe, and Props.  His extensive networks in each of these departments and his previous business history have forged a natural path towards film production.  Prior to a full time career in the entertainment field, Mr. Radpour was the Managing Director and Founding Partner of Tridian Design and Development. Tridian was one of the first and leading Internet Design and Development firms in Los Angeles.  Tridian maintained a client list of Fortune 500 clients ranging from top tier entertainment and media, automotive, manufacturing, retail, education, hospitality, manufacturing and defense contractors.


In 2008 Mr. Radpour made a full time transition into the entertainment industry pursuing a path towards film production.

SUSU DILLON
USC Assistant Coach - Equestrian Polo Teams


Our beginner coach, Susu has taught so many Trojans to ride and play polo that the Club recognizes her her an honorary Trojan! When she doesn't have her hands full teaching club lessons, Susu works full time at Fair Hills training/exercising horses and running the Fair Hills strings during the Will Rogers season.   Susu is an extremely accomplished horseman and has been playing polo since she was a young child.  Susu works hand in hand with Ardeshir to make sure all USC students are trained as quickly as possible and in conjuction with Ardeshir's requirements.
