USC's polo tradition started and flourished during the 1930's and 40's. In 1934, a group of USC students formed the first USC Polo Team. Their very first match was against the talented Walt Disney Mickey Mouse team, and they triumphed 7 to 6.
The USC Polo Club is a combination of many proud traditions which have come together to develop a long lasting and noble club and sport at the University of Southern california. Our polo club consists of team members, club members, polo club alumni, faculty and USC alumni. We would like to take the time and thank all of the USC Alumni, Students and Faculty which help us keep this proud tradition strong and enduring.
We continue to not only preserve this beautiful polo tradition at USC, but also produce the next generation of polo players and leaders as members of the United States Polo Association. In Southern California, USC is proud to have many extremely prominent and well respected players active in the polo community. We wish them all a successful polo season and our traditional "Fight On" to many victories.
